Join us for the Maine premier of Crescent!
Crescent will be the Maine premier performance of a new voice/percussion/electronics duo featuring Kamala Sankaram and Brian Shankar Adler. The concert will present the world premiere of “Crescent,” a sonic exploration of global temperature data, microplastics, and the other impacts of catastrophic climate change. The program is rounded out with music inspired by philosophical explorations of the human condition, as well as music from Kamala and Brian’s eclectic surf-noir band Bombay Rickey. Crescent is still being built and the first part debuted at Kaufman Center in NY a few months ago. This event will feature two 20-25 minute sets. This event is made possible in part by a gift from the Onion Foundation.
We are thrilled to bring you the Maine premier of Crescent by reknown artists Brian Shankar Adler and Kamala Sankaram.
Tickets include transportation, food, beverages, and world-class entertainment.
